Halifax
Home > Halifax | As with Bradford, this city became prosperous due to textiles in the 18th and 19th century. Today it has pleasant shops and is noted for its Eureka museum, a hands on experience for children to enjoy. There is also a conventional museum and two Halls to visit. Wherever you go in the town you will discover magnificent buildings, many of them old but lovingly restored and put to new use.
Have a break from the normal at [Laughing Gravy] and indulge in a delicious vegetarian meal. The chefs at Laughing Gravy are determined to prove to all their customers that vegeterian dishes can be 'Naughty but Nice', so why not go and test their theory? | |
